Crap or fantastic goalkeeping performances you remember. By any keeper.
In the light of Louis Karius remarkable performance in the Champions League Final I was think of memorable goalkeeping performances.

As a kid it was a treat to watch a live match on TV so I remember watching the crucial World Cup qualifier in 1973? against Poland.

Brian Clough called Jan Tomaszewski a clown and he then responded by having the game of his life.

Meanwhile Shilton had nothing to do apart from letting a soft one slip under his body and it was no World Cup tournament for us!

Bernard Lama was mental.

David James probably the best I’ve seen.

Mervyn Day away at Everton. It was a night match and he saved us from a real thrashing. I remember it was a draw but not sure if 0-0 or 1-1. Would have been about 74/75. The headlines in one paper, next morning was, appropriately, "HARD DAY'S NIGHT."

Parkes comeback match at selhurst v Charlton in the fa Cup, he was unbelievable in the rain, also memorable for Slaters first goal for us and west ham outnumbering the home fans, packing out that huge away terrace Palace had at the time.

Am I correct that Phil Parkes played his last game for us with his dodgy knees in the 6-0 drubbing in the pissing rain at Oldham?

He didnt deserve to go out like that if so!

Those seen in person......Dwyer scoring direct from a clearance (I've forgotten against which team, anyone?) and Joe Corrigan's clearance returned to the back of the net on the volley by Ticker.

Best performance this century by a WHU keeper was, for me, Adrian’s game clinching goal in the penalty shoot out against Everton in the FA cup.

Swerving Mervyn made some spectacular saves, some as good as I've seen, superb on his day, went on a great run of form before he got chipped off his line.
